There was once three stylish ladies,
One was my mother,
Of course I am biased,
But who is not of their mother,
I thought of her as the most beautiful woman,
And she did not court the limelight.
The second was a parent at school,
She hair was always beautifully done,
Her shoes and handbag matched,
And her jewellery never failed to catch my eye,
Sometimes finishing off the attire with a catchy hat,
Everyone complimented her daughter on her mother’s style.
The third is my good self,
Due to the influences of these two ladies,
I learnt to be stylish,
My mother heard me talk of this lady,
“Oh that’s your mate’s Mum,” each mother said.
I guess stylish people end up visiting stylish stores.
